In 2nd grade, students start to come into themselves. They are realizing, sometimes for the first time that they are a person, and that they have interests, friends, likes, and dislikes. So I made this story about a cat named Benny who looks at himself and realizes that he is a "person" (cat), but that he is just happy being him.

Stories are the way that we used to teach our children. I think that this tool is definitely one I am going to use later because it is interactive, it has pictures and it makes sense that using this tool in the elementary classroom would be a big hit because it is exciting.
